The Lost Tools of Learning

Dorothy L. Sayers (1893-1957) was a well known novelist, poet, playwright, essayist, translator. Her fields of expertise were classical and modern languages and medieval literature. She was one of the first women to receive a degree from the University of Oxford, graduating with first class honors in modern languages. Her theological convictions were traditional Anglican. Her essay "The Lost Tools of Learning" has become a classic document in the homeschool and classical Christian school movements.

ReformedAudio.org was conceived and developed by Ryan Jankowski and Benjamin C. Richards of Tucson, Arizona. Our goal is to create a resource for thoughtful Christians that provides high quality audio versions of some of the best Christian theological literature. In addition, we also offer pdf versions of many of the books and articles we have recorded. We have learned from our own experience that, while there is no substitute for reading, listening to recorded material is another great way to assimilate good Christian literature.
