Alvin Carl Plantinga (born 1932) is a contemporary American philosopher known for his work in epistemology, metaphysics, and the philosophy of religion. In 1980, Plantinga was described by Time magazine as "America's leading orthodox Protestant philosopher of God." He was portrayed in that same article as a central figure in a "quiet revolution" regarding the respectability of belief in God among academic philosophers. Plantinga has delivered the prestigious Gifford Lectures on three separate occasions. He is also a proponent of Molinism in the debate over divine providence, despite growing up in the Dutch Reformed tradition. Plantinga is currently the John A. O'Brien Professor of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame.
Welcome
ReformedAudio.org was conceived and developed by Ryan Jankowski and Benjamin C. Richards of Tucson, Arizona. Our goal is to create a resource for thoughtful Christians that provides high quality audio versions of some of the best Christian theological literature. In addition, we also offer pdf versions of many of the books and articles we have recorded. We have learned from our own experience that, while there is no substitute for reading, listening to recorded material is another great way to assimilate good Christian literature.
Since our desire is to see these works disseminated to the widest possible audience, all of our resources are available free of charge. We encourage everyone to download, copy and share these files. We do request that if you post them on your own website, that you acknowledge ReformedAudio.org as the source.
