Dr. Liam Goligher began serving as Senior Minister of Tenth Presbyterian Church in May of 2011. He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi.
Dr. Goligher has served as Senior Minister in Ireland, Canada, London, England, and his native, Scotland. In Scotland he sat on the councils of: the Regions Beyond Missionary Union (Scotland); the Scottish Evangelistic Council; Glasgow Crisis Pregnancy Center; and Rutherford House (a theological study center in Edinburgh).
In the U.K. generally Liam served on the council of Esperanza Trust (which works with the poor in Argentina); Keychange Charity (which serves the poor and homeless in London and a number of senior centers throughout England); and Word Alive, (a highly successful conference started by UCCF and Keswick and held on Easter each year); as a director of Evangelicals Now (Britain’s premier Evangelical and Reformed newspaper); and as a director and trustee of The Keswick Convention Trust until his coming to the USA.
Liam has contributed to more than seventeen books and authored six, including A Window on Tomorrow (Christian Focus, 1994), The Fellowship of the King (Carlisle, 2003), The Jesus Gospel (Milton Keynes, 2006), Joseph—The Hidden Hand of God (Fearn, 2008), as well studies on Ezekiel(thegoodbook Company) and Elijah (Intervarsity).His Sunday sermons are webcast on the internet and on the radio program No Falling Word.
Liam and his wife Christine have five adult children (Louise, Ruth, David, Sarah, Andrew) and ten grandchildren.
